After seeing the wonderful waterfalls at Iguazu, I crossed the border into Brazil and headed straight to Foz´s bus station to find a bus up to the city of Campo Grande, a principle access point for trips into the Pantanal.
I found a bus that left an hour later and travelled overnight to arrive in the modern city early the following morning. Rather than book a tour to the Pantanal, I decided to spend one day in the city getting my washing done and doing other admin things. It was also good to take a break from bus riding.
I booked a four night tour to the Pantanal to start the following day........................
